We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills to handle various tasks around residential and commercial properties. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
Duties
Perform general maintenance and repair duties related to the following services we offer: TV Installation, furniture assembly, drywall patch and paint, painting, ceiling fan installation, minor electrical not requiring a license, minor plumbing not require a license, caulking/sealing, staining and replacing wood, power washing, gutter cleaning, junk removal and dryer vent cleaning.
Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
Respond promptly to service requests from the office and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and ensure a clean workspace.
Collaborate with other tradespeople as needed for larger projects or specialized repairs.
Document completed work and report any additional issues to management for further action.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar role with a strong skill set in maintenance and repair tasks.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for repairs.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and painting techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently.
A valid driver's license is preferred for travel between job sites.
