CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Mechanical Technician II. Type: Contract Location: Newton, NC (onsite required) Pay Rate: Based on experience Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (overtime as needed) Education: Associate degree Description: Seeking a Mechanical Technician II to support engineering projects involving capacity additions, equipment installations, and process improvements. This role will involve mechanical design, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors to meet aggressive project timelines. Responsibilities: Lead or support new equipment installations, debugging, and operational readiness Identify and solve technical issues using root cause analysis and mechanical expertise Design and implement mechanical solutions to improve manufacturing performance Coordinate with vendors/suppliers to maintain project scope, timing, and budget Maintain safety standards and update documentation Support training for operations teams Qualifications: Associate degree 2+ years' experience in manufacturing equipment installations (start-up a plus) Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CAD experience preferred Hands-on manufacturing equipment experience Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Additional Information: No third party resumes Must work on W2 basis CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify employer To Apply: Email your Word version resume and salary expectations to ... or apply via our website.
