You will serve as a Lead Engineer Technician in the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division of NAVFAC NORTHWEST.Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing construction reviews of plans and specifications for technical soundness and practicability; 2) Applying engineering concepts, principles and practices applicable to the full range of engineering duties with the design, layout, quality control, of construction operations; 3) Preparing technical analysis, cost estimates, and reviews engineering designs for proposed changes; 4) Providing mentoring to assigned staff and junior engineers; and maintain credibility with others on technical matters; 5) Using automation technology and practices essential for accomplishment of engineering technician work, i.e., web-based construction management operations, construction project schedule interpretation, web-based construction standards research.
