Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the plant. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Ballston Spa, NY

Pay Range: $23-$26

Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm

What's the Job?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.
• Weld and fabricate parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure OSHA compliance.

What's Needed?

• Must have a class A or B license - CDL preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in minor semi-truck repairs including tires and brakes.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
