SUMMARY
Dynavac is in search of a talented Fabricator who is experienced in the welding of stainless steel and aluminum for the fabrication of large industrial machinery to join our exceptional Fabrication Team. The successful candidate will have the skills and initiative to produce a superior quality of independent work according to blueprints, job specifications, work orders, and verbal instruction. You will have experience using brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment. You will have the knowledge, judgment, and a high focus on quality to successfully complete complex welding tasks and solve problems. If your experience is in repetitive, production line welding work you may not have the necessary skills for this role.
Dynavac, located in Hingham MA (south of Boston), is an engineering and manufacturing company that builds custom high vacuum process capital equipment for a range of applications that include aerospace testing and thin film coatings. ESSENTIAL JOBFUNCTIONS *
- MIG Weld Aluminum or Stainless Steel in either a flat, vertical or horizontal direction at a certified level.
- TIG Weld Aluminum or Stainless Steel either flat, vertical, or horizontal, at 6G certified level.
- Advanced knowledge of weld machine setup processes.
- Advanced print reading skills.
- Advanced level of knowledge within the following Manufacturing Processes.
- Saws, Shears, Brake Press, Grinders, Sanders, Beveling, Riveting, and Rollers.
- Leak Test, Pressure Testing, LN2 Shock Testing.
- Bending, Rolling, Forming materials in position and out.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION & SKILLS
- Vocational High School diploma or equivalent in Metal Fabrication
- Two to Ten years of manufacturing experience. Preferably in Metal Fabrication.
- Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment.
- May be required to pass employer performance tests or standard tests to meet certification standards of governmental agencies or professional and technical associations
- Minimum to 10% travel requirement to customer sites.
