Job Description
Join Olssons Federal Engineering and Design Team as a Project Structural Engineer, where youll contribute to high-impact federal projects including military installations, VA facilities, and other government infrastructure. Youll be part of a collaborative team delivering structural solutions that meet rigorous federal standards and improve communities nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Lead structural design efforts for federal projects, including DoD and VA facilities.
Perform engineering analysis and develop construction documents for vertical infrastructure.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems with architectural, mechanical, and electrical components.
Ensure compliance with UFC, IBC, and other federal design standards.
Support proposal development and participate in federal RFP responses.
Provide mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team development.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
PE or SE license required.
6+ years of experience in structural design, preferably with federal clients.
Familiarity with Autodesk Revit and structural analysis software.
Experience with DoD or VA design standards and processes.
Strong communication and project management skills.
