Structures Mechanic Job Description The ideal candidate for the Aircraft Structural Mechanic position will be professional, highly productive, disciplined, team-oriented, technically astute, and responsive to the needs of the company, colleagues, and customers. This role involves performing organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance, including inspection, operational testing, repair, modification, and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components, and equipment. The position requires the application of advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other teammates as needed. Responsibilities Conduct organizational, intermediate, and limited depot-level maintenance on aircraft. Perform inspections, operational tests, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting. Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems. Provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to teammates. Conduct structural modifications, sheet metal, and composite repairs. Operate Ground Support Equipment effectively. Essential Skills 3 years minimum experience in depot level structures on military aircraft. Experience with repairs and fabrication of structural components. Experience with composite repairs. Ability to cross-train into other specialties. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple roles and projects. Ability to read, listen to, and understand information verbally and in writing. Additional Skills & Qualifications Current work experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in the military or with a government aviation maintenance contractor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Reno, Nevada. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr.
