Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering materials to the production floor, maintaining the production and warehouse areas, and assisting the material control department with receiving materials. Your role will also involve identifying and verifying quantities of all incoming materials.
Responsibilities
Deliver materials to the production floor efficiently and safely.
Maintain general upkeep of the production and warehouse areas.
Assist the material control department with receiving materials.
Identify and verify quantities of all incoming materials.
Handle, move, and store various non-hazardous and hazardous materials within the warehouse.
Load and unload different transport items.
Record inventory statuses.
Ensure deliveries properly match purchase orders.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, stand-up forklifts, and sit-down forklifts.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to read and analyze information effectively.
Adept at handling multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines.
Excellent time management skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Process improvement mindset.
Knowledge of inventory control.

Work Environment
You will be working in a very clean, 100% climate-controlled facility. This fast-paced work environment emphasizes meeting deadlines. The production work area features tight quarters, requiring eye protection and protective shoes. Loose clothing is not permitted.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clemmons, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
