We’re looking for a full-time Equipment Operator to join our team at our West Dallas site. This role is key to supporting our recycling operations by operating a crane with a mobile shear attachment.

Don’t have direct crane/shear experience? No problem! We’re also open to candidates with strong excavator operating experience who are ready to learn and adapt.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate a crane with mobile shear to process and move scrap metal
  • Operate an excavator and/or material handler as needed
  • Complete daily equipment inspection and maintenance reports
  • Perform routine checks and basic maintenance for equipment performance
  • Follow safety procedures, environmental standards, and company policies
  • Work closely with your team to maintain efficient yard operations
  • Take on additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience operating a crane with mobile shear preferred; excavator experience strongly considered
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to cross-train on equipment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Physically able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong time management, multitasking, and stress-handling skills
  • Able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Work Environment

  • Outdoor position, working in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
  • PPE required: steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hard hat, high-visibility clothing, ear plugs
  • Exposure to dust, fumes, and high noise levels (with PPE provided)
