We are seeking an entry level Transportation Engineer to join our team in Tempe, AZ.

B&N entry level Transportation Engineer Responsibilities:

Participate in diverse projects from initial concept through final blueprints

Dive into roadway engineering calculations, analysis, and design work that directly impacts communities

Create construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates that bring projects to life

Conduct transportation studies that solve real mobility challenges

Work alongside seasoned engineers who genuinely want to mentor you

Build relationships with clients and community members while developing transportation solutions

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program; Fall 2025 graduates are encouraged to apply

EI/EIT registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire

0-2 years of related transportation design or study experience

Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, and excited to sharpen your abilities with industry-standard software including AutoCAD and Microstation
