HOSE FABRICATOR (OLATHE, KS) MidState Aerospace 710 North Lindenwood Drive compensation: Negotiable depending on experience employment type: job title: Hose Fabricator Location: Olathe, KS Status:Full-time Monday - Friday (With every other Monday OFF) Hours:6:30 am -3:00 pm Level/Salary Range: Negotiable depending on experience. Job Description ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES With limited supervision, perform primary and routine hose assembly operations in accordance with military and other assembly standards using blueprints/drawings, visual aids, and verbal and written instructions. SKILLS/SPECIFICATIONS Strong attention to detail Ability to take direction, meet targets, and work efficiently under a supervising authority. Must exhibit a physical competency in handling light lifting and other strenuous activities associated with this position Perform other duties when assigned by supervisor and upper management. Must be detail-oriented and have basic math skills and knowledge of measuring devices. A motivated worker who can handle delegated tasks autonomously. QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum of one (1) or two (2) years of previous experience preferred. JOB REQUIREMENTS Perform a wide range of complex assembly operations on components or subassemblies in accordance with military and other assembly standards using blueprints/drawings, visual aids, and verbal and or written instructions. Prep components before assembly, clean, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies. Test/environmentally test finished assemblies. Set up and operate necessary equipment and machinery Spray, paint, and mix various compounds. Observe proper health and safety procedures in handling hazardous chemicals. Identify and report to the lead or supervisor any difficulty that would affect the correctness and quality of the work in progress. Follow and support Lean and 5S initiatives. Perform other duties as assigned.
