Project Engineer

Job Description

The role of the Project Engineer involves collaborating with Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of school projects within set timelines and budget constraints. The position requires expertise in blueprint reading, cost estimation, project scheduling, and ensuring the safety of craft workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver school projects on time and within budget.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution.
  • Estimate project costs and manage budgets efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Monitor and ensure the safety of craft workers and subcontractors on-site.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in project management, construction, and construction management.
  • Experience in project engineering, specifically within commercial construction.
  • Ability to use Procore software.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management.
  • At least two years of experience in a related role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Internship experience in construction management is preferred.
  • At least one year of project engineering experience on commercial projects is beneficial.
Work Environment

The Project Engineer will work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment. This role may involve both office and on-site work, requiring interaction with various stakeholders in the construction process. The position demands adherence to safety protocols and a collaborative approach to project management.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
