Job Title: Saw Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Saw Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a saw, ensuring precision in cutting, and verifying that parts meet customer specifications using tape measures, micrometers, and caliper instruments.
Responsibilities
Operate a saw and verify that parts are within customer-required tolerances using tape measure, micrometer, and caliper instruments.
Set up the saw and perform daily maintenance checks of the metal saw, completing a checklist along with other general housekeeping tasks.
Verify stock against work order requirements, including alloy, temper, gauge, size, producer, lot number, and grain direction.
Mark each part with customer-required identification and stamp work orders to indicate inspection approval.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of parts.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
Basic math aptitude, including the ability to convert fractions to decimals.
Safety-oriented mindset with honesty, integrity, punctuality, cleanliness, kindness, and respect for others.
Experience in general labor, inventory, forklift operation, blueprint reading, saw operation, fabrication, and production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Prior warehouse and forklift experience is a plus.
Team player with good listening skills and the ability to cooperate.
Focus on safety and quality, with the ability to work accurately and carefully.

Work in a 63,000 square foot production facility that is clean, organized, and open, creating a pleasant environment for forklift operation. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
