Project Manager/Estimator

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking to hire a Project Manager/Estimator to join a leading provider of drywall and acoustical ceiling solutions, specializing in high-quality construction services for both commercial and residential projects. Responsibilities

• Review project scope requirements to identify risks and clarify expectations with all stakeholders

• Develop accurate and comprehensive project cost estimates for pricing decisions and profitability management

• Ensure bid proposals are precise and align with profit goals

• Accurately estimate and manage ceiling projects from pre-start to closeout

• Complete material take-offs, place material orders, and manage project delivery and punch lists

• Engage with corporate, institutional, government, medical, and hospitality clients

• Conduct professional face-to-face customer interactions, from initial contact to business close

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative selling

• Maximize sales opportunities and gain market share through proactive outreach

• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, cold calling, networking, and more

This position will require you to work on-site at the office or to be on project/job sites. There will be local travel to sites throughout the greater Charlotte area within about 4 hours.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a project manager or estimator with commercial ceiling projects.

• Experience pricing projects and putting bids together between $300k - $3M+.

• Willing to drive to job sites within 4 hour radius of Charlotte.

• Experience with a construction, PM, and/or estimating software. null
