Job Title: Cable Technician | $25-30 HR | Must Start ASAP | 100% Travel
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cable Technician to join our team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of conveyor systems on-site. This role requires extensive travel and the ability to stay on assignments away from home for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Knowledge of proper cable management and service loops.
Basic computer skills for navigating timecards, expense reports, and booking travel.
Willingness to travel 90100% of the time, with assignments potentially keeping you away from home for 6090 days.
Maintain a valid drivers license and Real ID or valid passport.
Read and interpret documents such as proposals, blueprints, specifications, and procedure manuals.
Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Install, commission, and maintain conveyor systems on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Essential Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
Technical ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or laptop computer.
Ability to read and write English fluently.
Understanding of Spanish is a plus.
Proficiency in using multi-hand and power tools associated with conveyor installation.
Ability to climb ladders, operate a forklift and scissor lift, and practice proper safety per OSHA standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in mechanical and electrical installation.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proven track record in installing conveyor equipment.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Knowledge of industrial cable management.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
