SUMMARY

Bering Straits Global Innovations, a company within the BSNC family, is currently seeking an full-time Project Administrator for our Colorado Springs office. The successful candidate will perform day to day office duties and project coordination activities, communicate with and support the project teams and subcontractors. Candidate must have a good working knowledge of office activities such as filing, copying, scanning, faxing and be efficient with a multitude of computer skills, such as email and Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Wage/Salary: $40,000 - $55,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft and/or compile administrative support material
  • Manage subcontractor invoices and drive communication to resolve discrepancies with subcontractors
  • Operate a personal computer, various office equipment, and computer software, e.g. Microsoft Office, Word processor, spreadsheets
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system
  • Communicating with and supporting the office team and site employees
  • Professionally receive and respond to phone calls
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  • Manage and organize supply room
  • Assist in procuring temporary housing for project site managers
  • Prepare conference rooms for meetings
  • Prepare architectural drawing sets for print, packaging and shipping
  • Assist in project coordination duties as needed
  • Aid in business development and construction operations Documents Control
  • Support various teams with assigned responsibilities
  • Compile, review and submit expense reports
  • Help prepare, compile, submit and track company card expenses
  • Other general office and project duties

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications

  • Secondary education i.e. Associate's Degree or applicable technical certification
  • Valid Driver's License

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures and equipment
  • Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to perform filing and other clerical work
  • Ability to maintain an effective working relationship
  • Ability to multitask at an elevated level

Preferred

  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
  • College degree

  • This position is not subject to federal requirements regarding Department of Transportation "safety-sensitive" functions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
