Job Summary:

Enscicon is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Foremen for several industrial construction projects ranging in location from Denver up to Berthoud. You'll be responsible for leading crew sizes of up to 8 people. The work will consist of installing gang forms, placing concrete, finishing concrete, doing formwork, and managing the crew's safety and craftsmanship.

Essential Responsibilities:

Follow safety procedures to always ensure the safety of self and crew. Use PPE while on the jobsite (i.e. hard hat, safety glasses, ear protection, high visibility vest, boots, and gloves)

Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accuracy in measurements and quality of work.

Conduct quality control checks on finished products to meet project standards.

Collaborate with superintendents and team members to ensure efficient workflow on the construction site.

Manage all aspects of Concrete foundations, Site and Tilting - set-up, application, finishing, clean-up.

Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans, adjusting as necessary due to weather, supply delivery, and personnel.

Read and interpret site plans, with a strong level of skill relative to understanding elevations and grades.

Direct and mentor a team of equipment operators and laborers, promoting a strong work ethic and teamwork.

Ensure proper and safe use and maintenance of heavy equipment & tools.

Monitor the progress of the construction project and make sure that it is on schedule.

Review time sheets for crew, ensure that time is turned in on time and the timecard is filled out accurately, pull time records and assign cost codes, schedule & coordinate work schedules with the superintendent, and control costs as best possible

Lead team to build and install forms, forms may consist of ply forms, gang forms, and custom block-outs and voids. Set finish grade & QC all work prior to pour.

Manage job material supply/delivery for jobs, reduce waste on jobs, and procure occasional supplies. Manage trucks and all tools within the vehicles and shop

Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED (preferred)

Employment:

Valid Driver's License required

OSHA 10 or 30 preferred

Equipment operating licenses preferred (forklift, etc.)

Must pass E-Verify

Must pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening

Employment verification for the last 3+ employers

Experience:

4+ years supervisory experience in concrete construction, preferably industrial or water/wastewater.

Experience in gang forms for walls up to 24 feet high

Ability to read and clearly understand contract drawings & specifications.

Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Computer-literate, with the ability to draft routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Working Conditions:

This position involves work at construction sites where duties will be performed both indoors and outdoors.

Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.

Hours are often 10 or more hours a day, 50 or more hours a week, as work demands.

Compensation/Benefits:

Pay range between $37-$45/hour, depending on experience
