Large GC looking for Site Superintendents for Large Affordable Multifamily Construction Renovations throughout Rhode Island. Projects starting in early 2025.

Primary Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationAllocate resources for assigned projectsMaintain and update daily field reports in field reporting softwareEnsure accuracy of field documents and reportsFacilitate Tool Box Talks, as necessaryEnsure adherence to site safety standards and document discrepancies, if necessarySupervise onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clientsNegotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costsMaintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specificationsOther related projects, as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

OSHA 30Minimum 4+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent - Multifamily experience preferred.Computer proficiency a MUST--experience with Timberline, Raken is a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHighly organized with strict attention to detailWillingness to travel (daily, and for short/long-term travel assignments)Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisionsAbility to work independently and as a member of various teams and committeesAbility to process requests quickly and efficientlyAbility to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environmentStrong work ethic, self-motivated and self-starterPrevious experience in construction management or other related fieldsFamiliarity with construction management softwareStrong leadership skillsStrong negotiation skillsDeadline driven
