Data Center Construction Superintendent

A rapidly growing data center solutions provider is seeking a Data Center Construction Superintendent for a long term, possible temp to direct hire role. Project location is North Carolina. Candidate will support on-site coordination and project execution for mission-critical data center builds. This role ensures projects adhere to specifications, budgets, and schedules, prioritizing safety and quality throughout the construction lifecycle. Proven MEP experience required - specific experience with data center construction ideal.

responsibilities:

• Assist in scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  
  
• Help ensure subcontractors are executing and complying with the contracted scope of work.
  
  
• Help coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions and project teams.
  
  
• Assist in identifying subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
  
  
• Help identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
  
  
• Assist in performing quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
  
  
• Maintain a daily log (written) of activities on the job site.
  
  
• Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
  
  
• Assist in compiling job progress and completing punch lists.
  
  
• Complete other such duties consistent with your role as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, required.
  
  
• 5+ years of MEP construction experience required, specific data center project experience a big plus
  
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel and Project).
  
  
• Reading blueprints
  
  
• Yardi, Procore, and Prolog experience preferred.
