We're currently seeking a talented individual to assist with engineering design and project management of general construction, roofing, waterproofing, repiping, fire alarm, and other building envelope projects. Junior Engineers are involved in developing innovative solutions for a variety of challenging engineering and construction related projects and assist in project management and scheduling, engineering and design, client relations and project quality control.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct building envelope assessments, including visual inspections and diagnostic testing
- Analyze data and prepare reports on building envelope performance
- Assist in the design of building enclosure systems, including the selection of materials and detailing
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications
- Review shop drawings and submittals
- Conduct site visits during construction to ensure compliance with design and specifications
- Provide technical support to clients and project teams
- Provide assistance to senior staff with field construction duties, including observation or work, testing, inspections, and quality assurance oversight
- Assist senior staff with project management duties including site visits and reporting, conducting weekly construction meetings, reviewing pay apps, preparing monthly project status reports, and assisting senior staff with Owner/Client needs
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineering Track: Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management
- Field Experience Track: 2-5 years of relevant construction or related field experience in roofing, waterproofing, glazing installation, lab or field testing, or related building envelope systems
- Two years of experience in building enclosure consulting or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of building science principles and building codes and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Construction experience is a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
