Job Type : Full-time Pay : Union scale, based on experience and classification Benefits : Health insurance, pension, union benefits package Position Summary We are hiring a Asphalt Paver Operator with either a current CDL (Class A or B) or a CDL permit and a strong willingness to obtain a CDL. The ideal candidate has experience operating an asphalt paver on asphalt paving jobs and show strong work ethic, attention to detail, and safety awareness. Key Responsibilities Operate asphalt paver to achieve proper asphalt installation Work as part of a paving crew, communicating with operators and laborers Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE Attend jobsite safety meetings and report any hazards Requirements Valid CDL or CDL permit with intent to obtain CDL shortly after hire Experience operating asphalt equipment required Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Willingness to work extended hours during the paving season Knowledge of jobsite safety practices and DOT regulations Bonus Opportunity For the right candidate who shows up on time, works hard, and fits well with the crew, there is a performance-based bonus after 4 months of employment.
