Location: Rock Hill, SC (Travel Required as needed)
Pay Rate: $20$25 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (50 hours/week)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Mechanic Millwright to join our team for the installation of new conveyor systems and racking equipment in warehouse environments. This position requires both local work in the Rock Hill, SC area and nationwide travel as needed. Ideal candidates will have hands-on mechanical experience, be familiar with a wide range of hand and power tools, and be comfortable working in industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, maintain, and repair conveyor systems and warehouse racks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Use a variety of hand and power tools for precise mechanical work.
Ensure equipment is properly aligned using levels, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work both independently and as part of a team on job sites across the country.

Required Tools & Skills:
Candidates must be proficient with and possess the following tools:
Wrenches: Combination (standard/metric), adjustable, torque.
Screwdrivers: Phillips, flathead, extra-long shaft.
Pliers: Combination, needle-nose, locking (vise-grips), groove-lock, snap ring.
Hammers: Ball-peen, sledge, rubber/soft-blow mallet.
Measuring Tools: Machinist level, torpedo level, laser alignment tools, tape measure, calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges.
Cutting Tools: Utility knife, tin snips, hacksaw, bolt cutters.
Other Tools: Allen wrench sets (standard/metric), punches, chisels, alignment bars, scribes, inspection mirrors, cordless drills, disc grinders, bench grinder.

Qualifications:
Proven mechanical or millwright experience, preferably in industrial or warehouse settings.
Ability to travel for extended periods across the U.S.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Must be able to lift heavy equipment and stand/work for extended periods.
OSHA certification a plus but not required.
Job requires the proper use of PPE: Hard Hat, safety vest, glasses, gloves, steel toed boots and ear plugs.
