Job Description:

Position Summary

Perform a variety of machining re-work operations that include rework and facing operations after bending parts.

Responsibilities

Be able to set-up snow machines and other related secondary equipment to perform all required machining functions

Set-up and operator will be responsible for the quality of their pieces

Set-up, adjust, and operate turret lathe machines on a wide variety of parts

Operate nut checking equipment, following work instructions provided in the cell

Set-up, adjust, and operate all secondary machining equipment

Be able to read and work from blueprints, operation sheets, or specifications in selecting cutting tools and machine controls

Operate and clean Parts Washer

Perform a variety of machining re-work operations that include rework and facing operations after bending

Check the parts being produced, maintain tool and machine adjustments, and sharpen and reset tools as required

Qualifications

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

Previous manufacturing experience

Previous machine operating expereince preferred

Good math, reading and writing skills

Basic computer skills

Be able to use measuring instruments, such as a scale, calipers, micrometers, bevel protractor, etc.

Be able to read blueprints and drawings
