  • Key Responsibilities :
  • Salesforce Order Management (OMS) Architect to design, implement, and optimize scalable OMS solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Define and own the end-to-end OMS architecture leveraging Salesforce Order Management, Commerce Cloud, and Service Cloud.
  • Translate complex business requirements into scalable and performant technical solutions.
  • Design and build orchestration flows for order lifecycle flows, including capture, fulfillment, payment processing, shipping, returns, and service case integration.
  • Create data models, process flows, and integration patterns aligned with Salesforce best practices.
  • Establish coding standards, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce OMS projects.
  • Develop and maintain automation using Flow, Apex, and Composite APIs for complex order lifecycle management.
  • Integrate SOM with external systems (ERP, WMS, Payment Gateways, SFCC, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
  • Create scalable data models and ensure data integrity across order transactions.
  • Collaborate with tech leads, developers, QA, and business teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across orchestration flows and API interactions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce SOM feature releases and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Define and implement custom logic for split shipments, fulfillment routing, order holds, backorders, partial returns, and refund processing.
  • Build robust automation and extensibility using Salesforce Flows, Apex triggers, batch/Queue jobs, Lightning Components, and Platform Events.
  • Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term fixes and system optimizations.
  • Drive system monitoring, observability, and proactive alerting around key order flows and service interactions.
  • Contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile ceremonies as a technical leader.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management (SOM) architecture and data model.
  • Expertise in: oApex, LWC (Lightning Web Components), SOQL, SOSL, Aura oFlow Builder, Process Builder (legacy), and Orchestration Flow Designer oPlatform Events and Change Data Capture (CDC)
  • Experience with Composite API, Named Credentials, and secure API integration practices.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing SOM orchestration flows for order lifecycle events.
  • Experience with integrations (REST/SOAP) to ERP, payment providers, and logistics systems.
  • Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and named credential-based auth flows for secure communication.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Core Clouds (Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud B2C/B2B, or Sales Cloud).
  • Deep understanding of order-related processes: fulfillment, splitting, holds, returns, exchanges, and adjustments.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of PCI compliance, SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), and fraud management in order transactions.
  • Knowledge of common middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi) is a plus. Salesforce certifications such as Order Management Accredited Professional, PD1/PD 2, or Integration Architecture Designer are preferred
