Job Description We are seeking a Project Engineer/APM to join our team and support ongoing projects with high-profile medical clients. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth in a stable and expanding environment, with exposure to hospital and medical client projects. Responsibilities
- Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders, and other management tools.
- Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
- Possess general knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
- Obtain all required project permits and ensure all permits and permitted plans are saved in the appropriate project file prior to forwarding to the field.
- Assist Superintendents and APMs with updating and maintaining project schedules.
- Ensure that monthly updates are performed against the baseline schedule and are saved in the appropriate project files and distributed accordingly.
- Generate and process RFIs and submittals.
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or equivalent work experience (3-6 years) in a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer/APM for vertical construction.
- Strong computer skills with experience in Primavera, Bluebeam, or Procore.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar platforms.
- Experience in RFI & submittal generation and processing.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Experience in healthcare technology, such as MRIs and accelerators.
