Job Title: Production Welder
Location: Pontiac, IL
Pay Range: 20.00
1st shift: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Semi-automatic and manual MIG welding of frames, fixtures, beams end plates and other miscellaneous metal/steel parts
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Process and complete inspection, certification and documentation
- Conduct welding equipment maintenance
- Make adjustments to fixtures and welding equipment as required to produce a quality product
- Able to pass the company's weld test
- Demonstrated proficiency in assigned welding techniques
- Understanding and interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirements and blueprints
- Knowledge of safe work habits within industrial/manufacturing environment.
