Electrical Foreman Premier Electrical Staffing compensation: $30 - $34/hr employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Electrical Foreman ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS -Oversee and guide electricians, apprentices, and other workers on electrical projects -Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures on the job site -Diagnose and resolve electrical problems and malfunctions -Assists Project Superintendent in preparation of time cards -Attends safety and training classes to stay abreast of current rules and regulations -May coordinate and work with architects and building inspectors -Serves as a backup for the Superintendent -Performs additional duties as required by the job -Works with tools and equipment while providing leadership to further develop their crew's skills and abilities -Requisitions, obtains and distributes supplies and materials -Revises work assignments as required by priorities and work availability -Explains and demonstrates procedures and techniques to workers -Assists workers in resolving problems on the job Qualifications -Extensive experience in electrician/construction management and supervising teams on-site -Proficient in OSHA regulations and safety standards -Skilled in project scheduling and budgeting -Strong ability in blueprint reading and construction estimating -Experience with construction tools Principals only.
