Seeking an Electronics Technician for assembly, testing, and verification of RF systems in space-based communications. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; relevant experience may be substituted. 8+ years of direct technical experience with electronic systems. Proficiency in soldering and rework, including surface mount assembly under a microscope. Familiarity with electrical and RF schematics. Preferred Skills: J-STD or NASA soldering certification with space addendum preferred. IPC or NASA harnessing certification preferred. Experience with antennas, antenna measurements, and RF/microwave circuits. Familiarity with schematic and layout design in Altium Designer. Responsibilities: Provide input for work instructions and procedures for electronics soldering, assembly, and testing. Perform complex soldering and rework with proficiency in handling various package types. Build and test multi-wire cable harnesses, develop ICDs, conduct verification testing. Participate in assembly and testing of RF electronics hardware. Troubleshoot using TMDE such as network analyzers and oscilloscopes.
