Shop Mechanic

Overview
Sea Engineering, Inc. is a local engineering, commercial diving and marine construction company seeking a mechanic assistant to assist with inspections and maintenance on support for SEI's operations. Work will be included assisting the shop manager with inspecting and maintaining diesel and gas boat engines, diesel and heavy equipment and hydraulic systems.

Duties
Assist with the operation of assembly lines, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for various assembly tasks, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery, leveraging mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
Be able to pass background check to obtain TWIC and DBIDS pass.
Have a valid Driver's license and provide a current Driver's Abstract
Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or warehouse setting is preferred.
Familiarity with assembly line operations and factory processes is highly desirable.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
