General Laborer

General Laborer Job Description The Millwright Laborer position requires working on the road across western Minnesota, based out of Fergus Falls, MN. The candidate will join a Millwright crew to assist the foreman in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery used in farming operations. Experience in labor or carpentry is essential. The role involves both local work and traveling Monday through Friday, with the potential for overnight stays. Responsibilities Assist the millwright foreman in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery. Perform all aspects of construction from floor to ceiling, including building steel buildings and grain bins. Work at heights and travel for overnight stays as required. Maintain safety standards and ensure lifting is done from the ground or a power man lift. Essential Skills Experience in general labor or carpentry. Ability to use a tape measure and hand tools. Willingness to work at heights and travel overnight. Possession of basic tools, including a tool belt, tape measure, and hammer. Additional Skills & Qualifications No certifications required. Work Environment Work will primarily be conducted on construction sites, exposed to various weather conditions such as wind, rain, and sun. Expect to work 45-60 hours a week while on location. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Fargo, North Dakota.
