Production Scheduler

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER Automation Personnel Services is a Production Scheduler for a n industrial rack manufacturer located in C hattanooga , TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules to ensure efficient plant operations and timely project delivery. This is a temporary project. Pay rate $20.00 per hour Shifts and Hours Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:330pm Production Scheduler Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily plant operations including production scheduling, labor allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate production schedules aligned with customer deadlines and project goals.
• Support production teams including assemblers, CNC operators, finishers, and custom fabricators to ensure on-time performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to align production with project requirements and delivery timelines.
• Monitor and adjust schedules proactively to address material shortages, equipment downtime, or labor constraints.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and lean manufacturing practices.
• Communicate priorities, changes, and progress updates effectively across teams.

Production Scheduler Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven expertise in production scheduling, workflow planning, and quality control.
• Hands-on experience in European cabinet production a plus.
• Solid understanding of woodworking equipment, including CNC machinery, beam saws, and edge banders.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ERP/MRP system experience preferred.
• Occasional lift to 20lbs
• Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field, with 35 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience .
