Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager who specializes in supporting government construction projects to join a large general contractor for a project at Fort Meade.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the complete and satisfactory execution of the entire construction project.
• Coordinate all project information between the field, office, senior management, and the entire project team.
• Provide leadership, support, and training to the project team.
• Assist in the development of project staffing plans and assignments.
• Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Oversee subcontractors quality of work and coordination among trades.
• Ensure job site safety and security systems are in place and operating.
• Ensure all materials are delivered properly and on time, following submittal and procurement procedures.
• Oversee subcontractor schedules.
• Monitor cost reports for adherence to budgets.
• Establish and maintain relationships with all project participants, including the owner, owners representative, design professionals, and subcontractors.

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager at a general contractor.
• Experience supporting government construction projects.
• Proficiency in project management, construction management, and coordination.
• Experience with ICRA.
• Experience in pay application and subcontractor pay voucher preparation.
• Experience in project CPM schedule development, updates, and time impact analysis.
• Experience in change management processes.
• Experience in material and equipment fabrication & delivery tracking.
• Experience in subcontract administration and enforcement.
• Experience in prime contract administration & adherence.
• Experience in complex issue negotiation & resolution.
• Experience in subcontractor buyout process.
• Experience in job status report, profit plans, and forecasting management.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• US Government Clearance is a plus.

The position is 100% onsite at the project location. The project is based at a large, well-known construction company in Montgomery County, which offers great tenure and competitive compensation.

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $210000.00/yr.
