Job Title: Shift Pipefitter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled pipefitter who will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems, pipe supports, fixtures, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and production systems. This role involves working off of prints and using hand and power tools to ensure precise and efficient installation.
Responsibilities
Select the type and size of pipe and related materials and equipment, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to job specifications.
Cut pipes using tools such as hacksaws, pipe cutters, hammers and chisels, cutting torches, and pipe cutting machines.
Thread pipes using a threading machine.
Bend pipes manually or with pipe-bending tools and machines.
Mount pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceilings to secure pipes.
Assemble and install a variety of metal and nonmetal pipes and fittings using threaded, caulked, soldered, brazed, fused, or cemented joints.
Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps, and hangers using hand and power tools.
Install and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meters, and pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
Test piping systems for integrity and functionality.
Weld pipe supports to structural steel members.
Essential Skills
Proficient in pipe fitting, threading, and installation.
Experience in blueprint reading and plumbing.
At least 5 years of understanding of plumbing fittings and knowledge of how to thread pipes are strongly preferred.
Experience in construction and piping systems.
Skill in brazing and genset installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Strong math skills to measure accurately to the nearest 16th of an inch.

Work Environment
This is a 1st shift position, working Monday to Friday from 5 am to 3:30 pm, with every other Saturday required. Sundays are paid at double time, and overtime is paid after 40 hours. The work environment includes a brand-new facility with large bay doors for easy access, requiring steel-toed boots, eye protection, and hearing protection.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
