Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. The position involves welding on mild steel, reading blueprints, and engaging in production-based welding. This is an exciting opportunity to grow and advance within the welding field.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on mild steel materials.

  • Read and interpret welding blueprints accurately.

  • Engage in production-based welding tasks.

  • Contribute to the fabrication and grinding processes.

  • Measure materials using a tape measure.

Essential Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding.

  • Proficiency in blueprint reading for welding purposes.

  • Experience with fabrication and grinding.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in reading weld blueprints for a minimum of 1 year.

Work Environment

The position is based in a large facility with 400 employees operating over three shifts. Work hours are from 4am to 2pm, Monday through Thursday, with mandatory shifts from 4am to 12pm on Fridays and every other Saturday. The work environment is designed to support employee health and well-being, with a focus on providing the necessary tools and resources to succeed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

Growth opps to move up quickly into a Machine Op 2 that comes with a $1.50 raise

Annual raises: 2-4%

Goal sharing: monthly incentive based off of efficiency, delivery, safety and scrap. Can be up to an extra $1.80/hr
