Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND

Compensation: Hiring Range: $49,446.54 - $59,335.84 - Will commensurate with level of experience

Position Information:

Mayville State University has an opening for a full time Maintenance Supervisor. This is a full-time position with full benefits, including family health insurance and a retirement plan.

Examples of duties includes:

• Schedule work and projects to be completed
• Order materials for projects and repairs
• Install new plumbing fixtures, pipes and/or existing repairs
• Unplug drains
• Install new electrical fixtures or receptacles
• Repair existing fixtures when possible
• Repair small machines and appliances
• Ability to pull wire and make connections
• Replace ballasts in light fixtures
• Minor welding for repair of machinery
• Minor machining of items that need to be refaced
• Carpenter work with the ability to repair wood, ceramic and vinyl tiles, sheetrock, painting, staining, and some cement work
• Minor auto mechanics for repair of machinery
• Ground maintenance with mowing, trimming, removal of dead trees and branches
• Snow removal with the ability to operate a Bobcat, snow blower, truck with blade
• Apply ice melt and sand
• Safety Training

• Efficient use of Microsoft Office software
• Detail and customer service oriented

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree in a related field
• 1 year of supervisory experience
• 1 year of building and grounds maintenance experience
• Basic auto, electrical, and plumbing skills
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Certifications related to maintenance areas.
