AIRPORT FACILITIES TECHNICIAN - MASTER ELECTRICIAN
Aviation & Transportation Department
The Portland International Jetport is seeking a highly motivated individual for the Engineering and Facilities Department. Under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor, this position involves technical work in the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the terminal and parking garage.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid State of Maine Master Electrician's license
Considerable knowledge of best practices, materials, tools and equipment of the Electrical trade
Skill in locating and correcting defects in many different types of electrical systems
Ability to pass all required background investigations and maintain a valid Class C Maine Driver's License
Training & Experience Desired:
A strong background in heavy equipment and construction
Prior electrician or facilities experience in a large and/or industrial facility.
Successful completion of TSA background check (TSR Part 1542) and a federally mandated drug test
Valid Maine Class B driver's license or ability to obtain within 12-months of hire, paid for by PWM

Expected Hours/Schedule:
40-hour schedule, Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.

Salary & Benefits:
Labor and Trades - Grade 19MA, salary range starting $30.62 - $35.54/hour, based on experience.
