Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineer opportunity in Knoxville, TN.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position will work with a nuclear engineering consulting firm that provides products and services to measure instrumentation and control system performance in nuclear power plants worldwide. The Senior Electrical Engineer will support work both in the laboratory and in the field. They will develop test plans, perform testing and troubleshooting, analyze results, and prepare technical documentation according to the Company's Quality Assurance (QA) program.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering

5 years of directly related experience in the field of electrical engineering, electronics engineering, software engineering, and/or I&C system engineering

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and develop new equipment and technology for testing of nuclear power plant electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanic systems

Perform research and development to produce new equipment and technology

Travel 6 to 12 times per year for an average 4-day duration per trip to perform field service testing at national and international nuclear power plants

Perform data analysis and write technical reports
