Begin your career working with senior-level professionals at an established A/E firm that values employee input and collaboration. Burgess & Niple is looking for a Civil Engineer Co-op, Transportation to join our team in Louisville.

B&N Civil Engineer Co-op Responsibilities:

Work with a team of experienced engineers on a variety of transportation engineering projects that include assisting with office and field services

Typical projects could include traffic and safety analysis, roadway/highway design, complete streets design, drainage design, and surveying

Assist in studies, safety analysis, reports, and other similar tasks

Production of traffic and roadway plans and preparation of documentation, plan quantities, and cost estimates

Learn new methods and technologies such as AutoCAD and/or MicroStation

Skills & Qualifications:

You are a current student in good academic standing pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university and have completed at least one year of your undergraduate degree

Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required

Experience with AutoCAD and/or OpenRoads Designer a plus

Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools

Strong interest in developing diverse civil engineering skills
