Electrician Mechanic

Electrician Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrician Mechanic to install service equipment on trucks, including plows, salt spreaders, and lights. This position requires expertise in various technical areas to ensure quality installations. Responsibilities Install service equipment such as plows, salt spreaders, and lights on trucks. Perform wiring and installation of additional equipment like dump and salt spreaders on Mack Trucks. Utilize hand and power tools for installations. Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Conduct MIG welding, fabrication, and work with hydraulics and 12V DC systems. Adhere to safety standards and ensure all installations meet quality requirements. Essential Skills Proficiency in MIG welding. Experience with 12V DC electrical systems. Knowledge of hydraulics. Fabrication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications At least 2 years of experience in welding, fabrication, hydraulics, or 12V DC systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics. Work Environment Work in a specialized shop that installs equipment for townships and road departments. The current team consists of six employees, including three in management and three technicians. The work environment is supportive, fostering collaboration and skill development among team members. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
