Journeyman Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to conduct essential electrical work, including inspections, punch clearing, equipment startup, electrical commissioning, and energization at our Taylor project. Responsibilities Conduct electrical inspections and punch clearing. Initiate equipment startup procedures. Perform electrical commissioning and energization tasks. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Supervise and ensure quality control of electrical installations. Essential Skills Possess a valid journeyman electrician license. Strong electrical construction and troubleshooting skills. Experience in industrial electrical repair and installation. Proficiency in supervisory skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 certification. Journeyman or journeyman apprentice level experience. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a large warehouse with provided in-warehouse transportation. Contractors are expected to bring their own hand tools, RMS meters, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Austin, Texas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
