General Laborer Job Description The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance on personal care and landscape equipment. These rental equipment pieces must remain operational. The role involves visually inspecting and carrying out basic repairs as needed. Even candidates without prior experience will be considered if they demonstrate the right attitude and a willingness to learn. A customer service aptitude is important as clients will frequently visit the facility. Candidates should be comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as required. Pay: $18-19 Responsibilities Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on rental equipment. Visually inspect equipment and perform basic repairs. Assist customers with equipment rental and provide excellent customer service. Work both indoors and outdoors as needed to maintain equipment and prepare for customer pick-up. Essential Skills 6+ months of experience operating power tools and hand tools, or equivalent experience as a hobbyist in building bikes or cars. Ability to assemble and perform basic repairs on equipment. Aptitude for customer service. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in assembly and construction is advantageous. Why Work Here? Employees will work in a rental area located at the front of the building where customers come to rent equipment. Work can take place in the shop or the outside yard. The dress code is casual, with steel toe boots required. The team currently consists of five full-time staff members and two part-time employees. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Circle Pines, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
