Intermediate Architect Employer: Sag Harbor, NY, US Location: Thu, Aug 21 '25 Posted on: Full-time Type: We are a small architecture firm located on the East End of Long Island, NY, seeking a talented, full-time Intermediate Architect with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. In this role, you will work closely with our team through all project phases, from initial design concepts to construction completion. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a variety of residential projects in a collaborative, design-driven environment while honing your skills in both the studio and on the job site. Responsibilities Design Development: Collaborate with partners in developing project concepts, layouts, and presentations. Construction Documents: Produce and refine detailed construction drawings and documentation. Site Administration: Assist with construction administration, including site visits, coordination with contractors and consultants, and addressing on-site issues. Requirements Education & Experience: Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch preferred) with at least 5 years of professional experience in an architecture firm. Location: Must be local to the East End of Long Island, NY. Design & Technical Skills: Strong design sensibility and proficient documentation skills, including experience producing construction documents and details. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Software: Proficiency in standard architectural software including drafting, modeling, and rendering applications; experience with Vectorworks and Lumion is a plus.
