Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager will support the engineering team by creating and executing work plans, revising them as needed. This role involves collaborating with manufacturing to identify risks during execution, managing day-to-day operational project scope, and working with multiple teams to mentor and provide feedback on work plans. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage and control exposure and risks both internally and externally, upselling clients on additional services or products. Collaboration with supply chain and manufacturing is essential to navigate roadblocks that may cause delays. Clear and concise communication of the plan with the team is crucial to ensure everyone knows their responsibilities and adheres to processes and procedures. Responsibilities Create and execute work plans, revising as needed. Collaborate with manufacturing to identify risks. Manage day-to-day operational project scope. Work with multiple teams to mentor and provide feedback on work plans. Manage and control exposure and risks internally and externally. Upsell clients on additional services or products. Navigate roadblocks with supply chain and manufacturing. Communicate plans clearly and concisely with the team. Ensure adherence to processes and procedures. Essential Skills Project management experience. Engineering and manufacturing knowledge. Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Suite. Experience with Navison. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Engineering design and development expertise. Experience with MRP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager. 5+ years of experience in product development within engineering project management. Ability to work with multiple departments with high-frequency daily touchpoints. Work Environment The work environment is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Project Manager will support the engineering group to ensure product design and development meets customer demands. Flexibility and adaptability are crucial due to the involvement in cradle-to-grave projects. The projects will be detailed and complex, requiring close collaboration with the engineering team to ensure milestones are reached. Any delays must be reported promptly.
