Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Project Manager to join our General Contracting team. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of commercial, multi-family and mixed-use construction projectsfrom preconstruction through final completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, and a proven ability to manage complex projects on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Leadership

Direct all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and closeout.

Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Budget & Cost Management

Develop and maintain detailed project budgets.

Monitor financial performance, control costs, and identify opportunities for value engineering.

Scheduling & Coordination

Develop comprehensive project schedules and manage critical path activities.

Anticipate delays and adjust timelines proactively.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and ownership groups.

Communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure expectations are exceeded.

Subcontractor Oversight

Manage subcontractor procurement, negotiate agreements, and monitor performance.

Ensure scope alignment, schedule adherence, and quality execution.

Team Management

Provide leadership to field and office staff including site superintendents and project engineers.

Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven team culture.

Risk & Compliance

Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with local codes, OSHA safety regulations, and company policies.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain accurate project records and documentation via Procore or similar platforms.

Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in a General Contracting environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.

Software Skills: Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and conflict resolution.

Organized & Detail-Oriented: Highly organized with exceptional time management and attention to detail.
