Junior Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our team. This role involves working on-site at an 800,000 square foot warehouse project in Forest Park, IL for the next year, with opportunities to transition to other projects thereafter. The focus will be on project paperwork, documentation from contractors, follow-up on necessary items, and budget tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track project paperwork and documentation from contractors.
  • Follow up with contractors to ensure all necessary items are completed.
  • Monitor and track the project budget.
  • Assist with project coordination and construction documentation.
  • Support site development and engineering tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in project management and coordination.
  • Proficiency in construction documentation, surveying, and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of architecture, design, and engineering principles.
  • Experience in site development and handling change orders.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in architecture or engineering.
  • Experience with industrial, government/federal, distribution, or commercial projects.
  • Experience working on job sites and collaborating with contractors.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
Work Environment

This position is based on-site at a project in Forest Park, IL. The work environment includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, surveyors, and construction inspectors. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with various stakeholders.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Munster, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
