Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and analyzing electronic control units, ensuring they meet performance, EMI, reliability, and cost targets. You will be responsible for generating and reviewing technical specifications and reports and interfacing with project teams and customers. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements thoroughly.
  • Choose a design architecture that meets performance, EMI, reliability, and cost targets.
  • Conduct detailed design and analysis of electronic control units to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Consider and balance cost, technical, schedule, and risk factors.
  • Interface effectively with the project team and customers.
  • Generate and review technical specifications and reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables.
  • Perform breadboard level tests on new development products.
  • Mentor junior level electrical engineers.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace.
  • New Product Development experience in the aerospace/military industry.
  • Effective communication, planning, and organization skills for managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience in designing and testing analog and digital circuits and controllers.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience with electric motor drives is preferred.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $100.00/hr.
