Note: The hourly rate for this position is $25 - $28 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Shift: Monday to Friday ? 7:00 am start, 40 hrs./wk.
• Set up to complete all welding prep work of grinding and cleaning.
• Layout all materials to fabricate and weld stairs and handrail.
• Fabricate steel staircases, and handrails made of HHS steel
• Measure, cut and weld as directed by shop manager.
• Using MIG, weld on steel for stairs and handrails.
• Inspect the weld for defects like cracks or porosity.

Qualifications:

• OSHA-10 Construction Certification is not required but a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience REQUIRED in MIG welding.
• Ability to fabricate and weld on steel.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Position may require a drug screen
• Position may require a background check
