Direct to Consumer Merchandising and Operations Manager

FBIN Water is seeking a dynamic and experienced Merchandising and Operations Manager to oversee the development, execution, and optimization of merchandising strategies and operational functions across our Water products. This role is pivotal in enhancing our product offerings, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring a seamless customer experience both online and in-store. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of both merchandising and operations, with a strong focus on driving growth and improving the overall customer journey in the Water industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Merchandising Management:

  • Lead and manage the merchandise planning and assortment strategy to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to ensure that Water products are presented effectively across DTC Brand shops
  • Implement and manage in-store and online product displays that drive consumer engagement and sales.
  • Monitor and analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activities to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Ensure alignment of merchandising with seasonal promotions, brand standards, and consumer preferences.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily operations related to product availability, inventory management, and fulfillment.
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product deliveries are on time and stocked in sufficient quantities.
  • Manage the flow of products between warehouses, Distribution centers, and online stores.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to streamline processes and reduce inefficiencies.
  • Monitor and report on key operational metrics, acting as needed to address issues and optimize performance.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Partner with Growth Business Managers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to ensure a unified approach to product management and operations.
  • Work closely with analytics team to set and track departmental goals and KPIs.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Regularly analyze sales data, inventory levels, and product performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership based on data analysis to drive informed decision-making.
  • Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, operations, or supply chain management, preferably within the Water or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, retail merchandising, and product lifecycle management.
  • Excellent collaboration across departments in a heavy matrixed organization. Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of Water industry trends and products is a plus.

Additional Information:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $71,000 USD - $107,800 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
