Responsibilities include:
- Complete the design calculations and plan preparation for both new bridge, bridge rehabilitation, and retaining wall projects in alignment with applicable design standards and specifications
- Perform in person site visits and inspections of existing bridges and culverts and prepare and submit required reports
- Complete concept development and perform bridge sizing of proposed structures
- Complete quantity computations, cost estimates, and special provisions required for structures projects
- Complete bridge load ratings

Requirements- BS or MS in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Previous internship experience in civil/structural engineering
- Strong interest in structural engineering and transportation infrastructure
- Familiarity with design standards and specifications (AASHTO, DOT guidelines) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of structural analysis and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar)
- Proficiency with MS Office
- EIT registration a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid drivers license
