Premier Construction, a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction, is seeking a reliable and experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our team. This role involves hands-on work in rough carpentry, metal stud framing, drywall, and finish carpentry across a variety of commercial building projects in the CSRA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of commercial carpentry including framing, drywall hanging, blocking, and trim installation
• Install and align metal studs, gypsum board, wood framing, and related materials
• Interpret blueprints, project drawings, and construction specifications
• Execute precise measurements and cuts for doors, windows, moldings, cabinetry, and other interior finishes
• Safely operate power tools and hand tools including saws, drills, nail guns, levels, and measuring equipment
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to meet project deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe construction site following all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction
• Skilled in framing (wood and metal), drywall installation, taping, painting, and finish carpentry
• Strong knowledge of building codes, job site safety standards, and construction best practices
• Ability to interpret architectural blueprints and work with minimal supervision
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in active construction environments
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites
